Our legacy of love and family spans three generations, starting with Shelter T. and Dorothy Jo White. They were a pioneering couple with a small family who settled in San Dimas, CA in the late 1950’s. Shelter and Dorothy frequently provided care for members of the community in varying forms. From welcoming the extended stay of a homeless blind gentleman to fostering children, their reach expanded across the community of San Dimas and the San Gabriel/Pomona Valley.
Their kindness, love, and care for the community established a deeply rooted precedence of love and family in their household. It was this legacy that resulted in their off-spring and direct descendants excelling in careers as Administrators of Family Homes, Chaplains, Care Givers, Nurses, and a variety of other roles in the Social Services field. It is on this rich foundation that White Family Care Services stands and extends our Legacy of Love and Family!
